My name is Nils Hovland and Corridor Concepts is my portfolio blog.

Currently (2/18/13), this page is still under construction.  I look forward to adding content in a more organized fashion and including more advanced blog features.

Below are sample illustrations I have created.  They show conceptual design features of what might be the next generations of roadway construction efforts in Iowa.  Because I have produced the designs and illustrations from start to finish, they exemplify technical skills with a variety of design software, in-depth knowledge of road-building practices and conventions, and a third set of skills which links the first two in a practical manner, making this type of work feasible for one person in a relatively short time.
